Already Exists

Extended hubs can be useful if you have a lot of factories and not enough hub outputs. They may break if you have too many full belts. You can use storages to counteract this.

The display doesn't print items, it only shows what's on the wires layer

Then you have to add colors into the mix making a 1 in 16 chance of a quadrant (if shape has 4 layer) having a color (including gray) and since there are 8 colors (red, blue, green, white, cyan, magenta/purple, yellow, and uncolored/gray) it would make a 1 in 128 chance of a quadrant being a certain color (unless the shape was naturally found so there would be a 100% chance of it having the color gray) and If you put colors into the equation you would get a much bigger number
